Sparrows Pre-School
Caston enjoys a flourishing Pre-School, established in 2024. It is open to all families: you do not need to have an existing connection with our school or live in catchment. Children can join us from their third birthday, and many stay with us into Reception although there is no obligation to do so.
Pre-School - known as Sparrows class, shares the EYFS unit with Reception (Finches class) under the care of experienced teachers Miss Lindop and Mr Halmshaw, supported by qualified teaching assistants. Their day mirrors our school day, starting at 8.50am:

We accept Early Years funding, tax free childcare other voucher payment methods. Enquiries and new starters are welcome at any point in the year: please contact our School Office to find out more, come and visit or arrange a taster session.
