SCIENCE WEEK IN CLASS 2
Nelson Class enjoying Science Week - March 2018
Nelson Class have been enjoying their Science Week!
The children have been making predictions and discussing what makes a science experiment a 'Fair Test'.
They have been putting gingerbread men into different liquids, building bridges from different materials for
him to cross the river without getting eaten by the fox too! This has led to some interesting discussions and
involved weighing, using grams, the gingerbread man to work out how many men their bridge would hold.
Reception have also been making predictions. After looking at different sized and shaped balls they had to
explore which one was the most bouncy and talk about if their prediction was correct or not.
Next we will be making roofs for the 'Three Little Pig's houses' to find out which one is the most waterproof!
